ABSTRACT
In the present paper, details of cultivation and application of agrotechniques on Shankhpushpi [Evolvulus alsinoides] and Meswak [Salvadora persica] in Indian sesert are presented. Seed sowing at 0.5 cm depth during 1st week of June and July in 1:2:1 [sand: clay: FYM] soil mixture ratio was favourable for maximum seeding emergence in E. alsinoides. FYM, NPK+FYM and NPK treated seedlings showed maximum growth. In S. persica, seed sowing at 1.0 cm depth in 1:2:1 soil mixture ratio during 1st week of June was suitable for maximum seedling emergence, while treatments, with Hexameal and NOK for growth
